The space consists of faculty and staff offices, collaborative support spaces, a visualization wall, and a graduate students' lounge. Among these several can be reserved by researchers across campus and a few offices are available on a first come, first serve basis. Below are the general policies that can guide researchers who would like to utilize the start-of-the-art facilities provided by the Iowa Informatics Initiative.
Space Types & Reservation Policies
Unassigned Work Spaces – First come, first serve.
Collaboration Rooms – Advanced scheduling directly via Outlook.
Collaboration Spaces (Informal) - First come, first serve.
Grad Student Space – Reserved for Informatics Cluster Students and IGPI Students. Workspaces facing windows are unassigned and workspaces facing away from windows may be assigned upon request by supervising faculty to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Faculty Offices – Reserved for Informatics cluster faculty. Cluster faculty can book directly via Outlook. Space is limited so please only reserve the times you need.
Staff Offices – Reserved for Informatics staff. Contact email@example.com for availability.
General Space Policies
Informatics reserves the right to block any spaces if required.

Monitors will be provided at all formal workspaces. Desktop computers have been provided at some workspaces but individuals are encouraged to bring their laptops.
