Microsoft recently expanded its support for academic research by creating a Microsoft Investigator Fellowship. Full-time faculty at U.S. degree-granting colleges and universities who are currently conducting research, advising graduate students, teaching in a classroom, and use or plan to use Microsoft Azure in research and teaching are encouraged to submit proposals by August 16, 2019.

The award is a $100,000 annual stipend for two years beginning fall 2019.
