Date, Time & Location: Wednesday, September 13, from 11:00AM - 1:00PM, 330 South Madison Street

All university faculty and staff members are welcome to come to the Engineering Research Facility and experience first hand state of art facilities, explore the virtual world, and talk with our expert researchers. If you have a project idea dealing with VR, this would be a great time to discuss and perhaps meet others with similar interests.

There will be two food trucks adjacent to the Engineering Research Facility to purchase lunch.

  • HTC Vive: VIVE VR
  • Oculus Rift: Oculus Rift VR
  • The Portal: completely immersive VR system that consists of six rear-projected walls arranged like a cube.
  • IDEA Lab: The art of recording human motions made another monumental stride by enabling the digitization of every small detail of human motion.
  • 4D scanning system
